Job Title: Band Saw Operator

We are currently recruiting for a Band Saw Operator to join a busy and growing steel manufacturing company in Walsall. With work orders coming through the door left, right and centre, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with excellent long-term prospects.
This role is ideal for someone who has previous band saw experience and is comfortable working within a steel or heavy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Operating a band saw to cut steel to specification

Working from job sheets and work orders
-
Measuring and preparing materials accurately

Ensuring quality standards are met

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
What We’re Looking For:

Previous band saw operating experience

Experience working with steel or metal materials

A reliable and hardworking attitude

Someone who is happy working in a busy factory environment

A motivated individual looking for long-term work and progression
Shift Pattern (Afternoons):

Monday – Thursday: 13:30 – 22:00

Friday: 13:30 – 19:30
A great shift pattern that finishes earlier on Fridays so your weekend starts sooner.
