Oliver Rae is seeking a Removal Porter in Reading (RG7). Are you experienced in Removals / Drivers Mate Delivering Furniture? We are working with one of the UK’s most professional business relocation companies based in the heart of reading.
Brief description of removal porter duties
· Working with a team of people 2 – 10 +
· Loading vehicle with customer goods.
· Delivering excellent customer service when on site.
· Removing furniture from buildings.
· Delivering furniture to customers.
· Installing / fitting furniture using hand and power tools.
Requirements for this role
· Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy products.
· Must have excellent customer facing skills as you’ll be conversing with customers to see where they want their items placing.
· Must be over 18.
· Candidates with furniture delivery, removals experience will be preferred.
Working hours
Monday – Friday start times from 05:00am – 7:00am (Shift is typically 10 hours however, the finish time is dependent on when the job is completed)
Removal Porter Salary
£10.50 per hour + overtime at time and a half after 45 hours
