Oliver Rae is currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to work within a Foundry in Lye
Our client has had a phenomenal amount of new business coming through the doors and their opportunities will be endless!
This role you will be trained to ensure manufactured products meet requirements using tools and guidelines.
If you have experience in Quality Control within a manufacturing environment or have Foundry experience, we would love to hear from you.
Brief Description of Job Duties:

Visually inspecting castings to ensure they meet company standards.

Recording performance.

Approving or rejecting both raw and machined castings.

Complete gauge checks.

Utilise measuring equipment.

Identification of cast defects and non-confirming castings.

Dressing castings and repairing surface imperfections.

Initiate and follow up non-conforming castings.

Lifting castings up to 25kg.

Training to utilise an overhead crane.

Promote ideas to optimise inspection productivity.
Weekly pay – PAY
Working hours & pay:
05:00 – 13:00 (overtime available until 15:00)
£13 – £14 per hour + Overtime paid after 38 hours
