Oliver Rae is currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to work with one of our clients based in Lye. They are well known for producing high-quality iron castings and their family feel working environment.
Brief Description of Job Duties

Working alongside the quality manager to minimise internal and external scrap.

Developing the process of casting production.

Maintaining calibration of software and measuring tools.

Utilising simulation software.

Maintain quality control through an internal quality management system.

Reduce manufacturing costs.

Minimise re-working.

Influence positive changes within the quality department.

Assist with casting design.
-
Manage and maintain tooling checks.
-
Assisting with training.
-
Assisting with audits and customer visits.

Manage KPI’s.
Working hours & pay
Flexible working hours from 05:00am – 08:00am (40 hour week)
Salary £25,000 – £35,000 dependent on experience
