Oliver Rae is currently seeking Press Setters in the Walsall area to work with a well-known manufacturer. Are you looking for a full-time permanent position as a Press Setter?
As an essential part of the production process, press setters play a crucial role in shaping metal components used in the Automotive, Aerospace, and Industrial industries ensuring precision and efficiency in manufacturing.
Requirements
- Must have experience setting progression presses of 250 – 450 tonne
- Rospa certificate is preferred
Job Duties
- Working in a press shop setting progression presses from 250T – 400T.
- Using the overhead crane to load machinery.
- Operating the press and working through production.
- Completing 1st and last offs.
Shifts
08:00 – 17:00 Days
06:00 – 14:00 & 14:00 – 22:00 Rotating
This role will lead to a full-time contract with the client after a successful 12-week trial period.
£13.00 – £14 per hour
