Marketing Assistant

Job Duties

  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Manage social media accounts, including creating and scheduling engaging content.
  • Support website updates and ensure content is accurate and on-brand.
  • Assist with email marketing, newsletters, and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the team to create and proofread marketing materials, including blogs, advertisements, and brochures.
  • Maximise brand visibility through engaging and creative content such as blog posts, newsletters, and campaigns.
  • Leverage key marketing channels-social media, email, SEO, PPC, website, and online campaigns-to drive engagement and generate leads.

Continuously identify and recommend innovative solutions to optimise marketing performance.

  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Write, edit, and proofread content for various marketing materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Manage and update websites, ensuring content is fresh and user-friendly.
  • Schedule and optimise content delivery to maximise reach and engagement across platforms.
  • Coordinate with videographers and photographers to produce high-quality multimedia content.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide data-driven insights for improvement.
  • HTML/CSS Coding – Write clean, well-structured HTML and CSS to create the website’s structure and layout, ensuring compatibility with all browsers.
  • SEO Best Practices – Implement on-page SEO strategies in the design, including optimising metadata, alt text for images, and clean code to improve search engine rankings.

Requirements

  • A proactive and creative individual with a passion for marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and digital tools (e.g., Mailchimp, WordPress, Adobe Suite, or similar).
  • A team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
