Job Title: Logistics Administrator

Location: Dudley

Salary: £30k per annum

Shift Patterns: 08:00 – 16:00 Monday – Friday

We are currently seeking a Temporary Logistics Administrator to join one of the UK’s leading food processing plants. This exciting opportunity has arisen to provide vital support across multiple sites in the West Midlands on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Data entry – inputting precise and accurate information into spreadsheets and online business portals.
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure compliance documents are up to date.
  • Onboarding new suppliers on an already established database.
  • Processing invoices internally and externally to suppliers and sites.
  • Reviewing contracts.
  • Ensuring all transport documentation is up to date including – O Licences, OCR scores, and fleet compliance.
  • Customs import and export documentation.
  • Recording temperature checks, appropriate licenses, credit checks, insurances, and signed SLA’s.
  • Completing quarterly database checks.
  • Recording MHE requisition numbers.
  • Recording and reporting on non-conformance reports.
  • Dealing with cost requisitions.
  • Making necessary insurance claims.
  • Month end groupage reports.
  • Liaising with various sites regarding invoices and queries.
  • Travelling to various sites utilising own transport.
  • General administrative support for the group.

Qualification/experience:

  • Accurate & timely administration.
  • Transport knowledge.
    Practical experience in making declarations and handling all associated tasks
    Developed interpersonal, negotiating, and persuasive skills.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced varied environment.
  • Experience in distribution, 3PL & transport environment.
  • Highly developed functional knowledge of Logistics best practice exposure or understanding.
  • Tenacity and attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of working within a dynamic cross-function team and effectively working with 3PLS.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge.
  • Must have full UK Driving Licence with own means of transport due to the amount of travel.
