Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver

Location: Walsall
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are recruiting for two permanent Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver positions to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Walsall.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, friendly team in a clean, organised warehouse with on-site parking, excellent working conditions, and genuine long-term job security.

The Role

This is a hands-on warehouse position. While you must hold a valid FLT licence and be confident operating a forklift truck, this is not a role where you’ll spend the day sitting on a truck.

We’re looking for people who are happy to get involved in all aspects of the warehouse operation and who enjoy working as part of a team.

Your duties will include:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.

• Loading and unloading vehicles.

• Moving stock and raw materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.

• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.

• Booking goods in and checking deliveries.

• Maintaining accurate stock locations.

• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised.

• Supporting production and assisting wherever required.

What We’re Looking For

• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence (held or refreshed within the last 3 years).

• Previous warehouse experience within a manufacturing environment.

• Confident and competent operating a forklift truck.

• Someone who isn’t afraid of hard work and enjoys being hands-on.

• A positive attitude with a willingness to help across all warehouse activities.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a small team.

This role would not suit someone who prefers to stand back and watch others do the work. We need team players who are happy to roll up their sleeves and contribute wherever needed.
