Our client based in the heart of Walsall is now seeking to expand their ever-growing team. The global business is seeking an electrical-biased Maintenance Engineer. You will be joining a team of 3 to assist in the maintenance and repairs and diagnostics of the plant.
This role is working Monday – Friday (06:00 – 14:00 & 14:00 – 22:00 rotating)
Job Duties
- Working with engineers to ensure consistency in approach to all engineer issues.
- Perform PPMs.
- Deal with breakdowns as quickly and efficiently as possible to avoid disruption.
- Electrical fault finding.
- Mechanical fault finding.
- Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment.
- Inspect completed installation and maintenance repair work.
- Ensure compliance.
This role will be providing the current team with support and guidance whilst reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Requirements
3 years minimum experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
HNC / City & Guilds / Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Engineering.
17th / 18th Edition.
Experience with engineering CMMS software systems.
Experience with CAD / Similar drawing systems.
Experience in working with pneumatic systems, valves and cylinders as well as hydraulic systems.
Overtime information
Weekly overtime is time and a third.
Saturday overtime is time and a half.
Sunday overtime is double time.
