Job Title: Lathe Turner
Location: Dudley
Pay Rates: £16.00 – £17.00 per hour
Shift Patterns: 08:00 – 16:15 Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 15:30 Friday
Oliver Rae is currently recruiting for an experienced Lathe Setter Operator to join a well-established and forward-thinking engineering business. This role specifically requires experience working on Mazak Nexus Quick Turn Machines.
However, if you’re a skilled Lathe Setter with experience on other machines – we still want to hear from you! We’re working with a number of engineering businesses across the local area and may have the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings

Setting and operating CNC lathes

Using a variety of measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality

Maintaining high standards of health and safety in the workplace
Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience setting and operating Mazak lathes
-
Solid understanding of Mazatrol controls and Mazak machinery
-
A team player with a strong work ethic and keen eye for detail
