Job Title: Grinder
Location: Aldridge
Pay Rates: £12.71 per hour
Shift Patterns: Monday to Thursday 07:00-16:00 & Friday 06:00-15:00
Oliver Rae is currently recruiting for experienced Industrial Grinders to join a well-established and reputable manufacturing company based in Aldridge. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term, stable position within a business that values hard work, reliability, and commitment.
This is a physically demanding, hands-on position working with steel components. You will be responsible for using hand grinders and linishing tools to remove excess material and reduce rough edges, ensuring products meet required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating hand grinders and linishing equipment
- Removing rough edges and excess material from steel components
- Loading and unloading materials
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Supporting general production duties as required
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous grinding or metalwork experience is preferred
- Must be physically fit due to the nature of the work
- Hardworking, reliable, and committed
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Candidates looking for long-term, stable employment
