Job Title: Weighbridge Operator
Location: Brownhills
Pay Rate: £13.75ph
Working hours: Monday – Friday 07:00-17:00 (flexibility required)
Contract: Full time, permanent
Oliver Rae are recruiting on behalf of a waste management company in the Brownhills area who are looking for a reliable and adaptable Weighbridge Operator to join their team. This is a varied role that requires accuracy, confidence with paperwork and systems, and the ability to support different areas of the business when needed.
Role overview;
- Operating the weighbridge and ensuring all vehicle movements are recorded accurately.
- Completing paperwork and maintaining compliance with site procedures.
- Handling incoming calls and emails professionally.
- Completing A Returns for inbound waste.
- Updating spreadsheets and use of CRM system.
- Carrying out van collections when required (3.5T van).
- Supporting multiple departments across the business.
- Occasional working away for a couple of nights at a time (accommodation and expenses covered).
Requirements;
- Must be 25 or over (insurance purposes).
- Maximum of 6 points on licence.
- Physically fit due to the nature of the role.
- Confident in all aspects of IT.
- Able to work across different departments when needed.
- Willing to work away occasionally.
