Job Title: Retail Assistant (Food)

Oliver Rae are working with a local Food Manufacturer – we are looking for Retail Assistants to join their team serving on the retail counter. This will be a Temporary – Permanent role working on part-time hours from 16 – 20 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a keen interest in delivering excellent customer service. As a retail assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers and ensuring they have a delightful experience.

Responsibilities:
Packing products.
Working on a busy retail counter.
Answering customer queries regarding ingredients and rice.
Operating a till – handling cash and card payments.
Upsell and promote new products.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the product range.
Ensuring the store is clean and organised.
Monitor stock levels.
Restock as needed.
Working closely with the team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Adhering to food safety practices.
This job will suit an experienced Retail Assistant that enjoys standing on their feet and fast moving operations.
Working hours:
Monday – Saturday 16 – 20 hours per week.
Shift times will vary between the hours of 08:00 – 16:00
Requirements:
Must be confident with customers.
Must have a good basic level of mathematics to calculate payments.
Must have excellent communication skills.
