Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: Stourbridge
Pay Rates: £35,000
Shift Patterns: 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday
Our client is a leading business dedicated to delivering high quality casting based in the Stourbridge area. With a commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability and they uphold a tradition of excellent in every aspect of their operations.
Due to substantial growth they are looking for a hands on Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer you will play a pivotal role in optimising their manufacturing processes to ensure consistent production of top quality products whilst reducing scrap.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in terms of efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Lead and support continuous improvement for Lean Manufacturing initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain quality standards throughout the production process.
Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment and machinery including maintenance of the calibration and simulation software and measuring tools.
Maintain accurate records of process changes, performance metrics, and equipment maintenance activities.
Qualification/experience:
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must be able to project manage.
Must have experience within castings.
Benefits and working hours:
Monday – Friday (Plenty of overtime)
08:00 – 16:00
30-minute unpaid break.
