Job Title: Furnace Operator
Location: Walsall
Pay Rates: £12.21 + Per hour
Shift Patterns: 6:00am – 14:30 Mon – Thurs 6:00- 13:00 Friday
We are seeking an experienced Furnace Operator who is looking for a long-term position! Our client is looking for committed employees to join their growing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Operate electric induction furnaces.
- Add charge to the melt.
- Add additives to melt to bring metal to spec.
- Use ladles to cast metal parts.
- Monitor pouring speeds to ensure quality castings.
- Monitor furnace temperatures.
Qualification/experience:
- Electric Induction Furnace Operating.
- Casting experience is preferred but not necessary.
