Counterbalance FLT Drivers (Driving licence also needed)
Location: Walsall
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour (£21.00 per hour after 42.5 hours)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 5:30pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver / Yard Operative to join a busy and growing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long working days and regular overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Transporting materials around the site and on public roads where required
- Carrying out general yard duties and housekeeping
- Assisting with stock movements and storage
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Minimal manual handling/handballing involved
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential, as the role involves driving on public roads)
- Previous experience in a similar FLT/Yard Operative role
- Comfortable working outdoors throughout the year
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
- Flexible approach and willing to assist with general yard duties when required
