Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Stourbridge
Pay Rates: £13.00 – £17.32
Shift Patterns: Day Shift 05:00 / 06:00 starts
We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector for one of our long-term clients based in Stourbridge. This role requires someone with experience and will involve a lot of responsibility as you inspect cast ductile iron and steel castings. Our client has a phenomenal amount of new business coming through the door and is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their thriving team!

Responsibilities:
- Inspecting castings – both iron and steel to maintain the company’s high quality standards.
- Inspect and verify product quality, using visual and dimensional inspection methods.
- Refer to visual and written standards to verify product quality.
- Report on your findings.
- Ensuring work instructions and SOPs are referred to in the inspection process.
- Support the customer returns process, by evaluating the product quality of defects before the acceptance.
- Initiate and follow up on non-conformance.
- Complete inspection reports.
Qualification/experience:
- Experienced in quality inspection within the castings/steel industry.
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment.
- Ability to safely lift 25kg.
- Ability to read drawings.
